I work to create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Through a client-oriented approach, I aim to help clients uncover the underlying roots of their problems and symptoms. I believe that a symptom important enough to instigate a trip to the therapist has typically resulted from many different interacting factors. In my practice, I assist clients in exploring these factors and the dynamic organization to the way they unconsciously register experience. By doing so, we can work to bring about desired changes.

As a Registered Psychotherapist, I use a variety of modalities and approaches to treatment. My philosophy of growth relies on the facts that human beings are rational by nature, knowledge is based on experimental results, life's meaning is to be found in individuals, and that reality gains meaning through one's personal explanation of experiences. My practice focuses on helping individuals to understand and develop a greater understanding of their struggle through cognitive, affective, Behavioural and systematic intervention strategies that address wellness, personal growth and pathology.

Clarity is my hope for each person I see, whether we use Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Narrative approaches, EMDR, Mindfulness, yoga, polyvagal theory, or creative arts expression. Regardless if your struggle is with depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, or trauma, clarity means a better awareness and understanding of yourself in the current situation. Knowing yourself allows you to make choices best for you, consciously. It can be challenging to unravel and understand all of the often conflicting messages we hear and give ourselves, but it is crucial. This is the work I will support and guide you in.
