I accompany clients from a place of compassion, creativity, warmth, and humour as they move from the wounds of interpersonal, systemic, and intergenerational trauma (e.g., neglect, identity-based violence, childhood or intimate partner violence, premature death) towards fulfilling lives rooted in posttraumatic growth. In addition to working with clients who have experienced trauma and its related effects, I also work with clients who identify as experiencing stress (including anxiety disorders), sadness or depression, persistent guilt and shame, life transitions, grief, and existential questions related to life purpose and identity.

Life transitions can be challenging and overwhelming to navigate on our own. Whether you are starting at a new school or job, ending a relationship, surviving a loss, or experiencing a major life event such as becoming a parent or working with a new diagnosis, transitions can be hard. Life transitions can cause a range of emotions – we can feel intensely vulnerable, anxious, excited, stressed, and fearful. Sometimes we feel stuck and alone. If you are struggling with a life transition and need support, I am here to help provide a safe, compassionate space for you.

We help those struggling with substance and alcohol problems.
