I am an experienced clinician who graduated with honors from both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. My expertise lies in the field of psychology, where I explore key concepts on how to create change and reach our goals. I use research-based techniques to help clients work on their issues. By bringing unconscious patterns to light, reprocessing past experiences, and establishing attainable goals for the weeks ahead, I help clients gain momentum to move forward while freeing them from old ways of thinking and behaving. These approaches push us to use new neural pathways or change established ones which create long-lasting changes.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma. I am a Certified EMDR therapist. This technique is used for clients who have experienced adverse life experiences as well as mild to extreme traumatic events. I am a member of EMDR Canada and the EMDR International Association.
I am the owner of Olivia Psychology in Edmonton, where I lead a team of eight therapists. Four of these therapists are francophone and offer services in French. The clinic provides services for children, teenagers, adults, families, and couples either in person or online.
