Life is full of highs and lows. While we may need very little help to maneuver through the highs, there are certain lows that may leave us feeling "stuck", "tired", or just plain "drained". The goal of therapy is to provide clients with a safe place where they can explore and process their thoughts and emotions in an effort to work through challenging issues in a fully confidential and non-judgemental environment. As a result, clients are able to heal from the issues that are holding them back, and they can begin to thrive with more ease. Life's lows become more manageable and less bothersome. Life's highs become more enjoyable!
Healthy relationships are particularly challenging to maintain in today's busy and demanding world. We may find ourselves feeling tired, emotionally detached, misunderstood and even alone. Pre-marital & marital therapy aims to help couples to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and one another in order to improve communication and connectedness.
It can be difficult to reach out and speak with someone for the first time. There are so many unknowns. Will this person understand me? Can therapy really help me to feel better?
