I believe that we are all capable of making positive changes in our lives. My role as a therapist is to facilitate that process through warmth, understanding, and insight to help you see things in a new way. We can work together to identify meaningful and attainable goals, improve relationships and connection, develop confidence and self-esteem, and lessen feelings of sadness, anger, loneliness and hurt. After all, the more we understand about our experiences, feelings, motivations, and needs, the more we can make deliberate choices about how we want to live.
I approach therapy from a client-centered and relationship-focused perspective that emphasizes trust and a sense of safety in session. I work with adults and teens (15+) who are coping with trauma and abuse, sexualized violence, depression, anxiety, relational issues, and more.
