As a psychotherapist it is my job to help clients foster change by using educational background, experience, and insight. I work with individuals of all ages, couples and families and understand the importance of relationships, and how at our core, everyone wants to be heard. I see therapy as a resource that can be used to see strengths, create confidence, and develop skills that will last a lifetime. I look forward to creating this confidence within my clients and find joy in helping them find their voice.
I provide a non-judgmental, person-centred approach that can assist clients with a variety of different challenges. I implement modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative therapy and solution focused to cater my approach to each individual client and help them reach their desired goals.
I find one of the most important aspects of therapy is to create a comfortable and safe environment for my clients to share in. Talking to someone can sometimes feel intimidating, and let's be honest - scary! Which is why I use warmth, validation, and humor to help clients break down these barriers and move towards positive change.
