Nichole has worked with children, youth, and their families over the last three years, using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, CBT, Family-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy approaches. She has a drive and passion to support those who are suffering from mental, emotional, and behavioural challenges by providing a safe space to talk and come up with ways to manage these challenges within their daily lives.
She currently works with children and youth who experience eating disorders alongside mental health challenges. Furthermore, Nichole’s main areas of focus include ADHD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family conflict, psychosis, substance abuse, behavioural challenges, and emotional regulation.
She has the capacity to manage challenging moments by using de-escalation and skill support. Her skillset allows her patients to feel more confident in communicating their emotions and increase their emotional regulation. She enjoys supporting youth and families by providing them with tangible and educational worksheet to help them manage within their home.
