The folx we work with have experienced a complex variety of trauma(s) throughout their lives. They struggle with relationships (personally and/or professionally), substance use/overuse and/or mental health well-being. Their hope is to break free from their trauma and live their best life.
WE use integrated approaches to tailor a person focused strategy for healing. We are trained in several modalities such as Solution Focused, EMDR, CBT, DBT, Narrative to name a few. We also include a Cultural humility perspective to each individual we meet. We all have training in Indigenous ways of knowing and doing.
We understand how hard it is to ask for help, especially when that involves exploring painful experiences and memories. We will work with you at your pace and ensure that you are building your resources to cope with the emotions that arise. We are looking forward to helping you start your healing journey.
