I'm a South Asian art therapist, dedicated to helping my clients approach their challenges in manageable and meaningful ways. My expertise spans diverse life stages, from student-hood to the end-of-life process. I've worked closely with individuals grappling with stress, anxiety, and the intricacies of migration and life transitions. Additionally, I specialize in supporting those facing the challenges of aging and terminal illness, offering guidance and opportunities for reconnection. My approach prioritizes culturally sensitive care, nurturing resilience and purpose in each individual as they navigate life.
Since the beginning of time humans have turned to art, music or symbolic rituals to explore and understand their inner world. Art therapy is based on this innate nature and is developed from the understanding that much of our life experience is difficult to put into words. The creative process allows true & full expression, without relying on verbal skills.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to offer support and creative interventions tailored to what my client needs and is comfortable with. If you feel that I could support you with exploring and navigating your challenges, don't hesitate to reach out - I'll be happy to help!
