Hello! My name is Navjot and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I work with diverse cultural backgrounds and clients of all ages. My goal as a therapist is to help guide clients who may be experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and family/relationship issues to name a few! When it comes to therapy, I take a client-centered approach where the role of the client is encouraged and prioritized. I strive to provide my clients with a non-judgmental and empathetic space in which they can share, learn and grow.
Personally, I see therapy as being something unique to each client. Thus, I approach therapy as an adaptable and multi-approach experience. Some modalities you can expect to see are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy to name a few! My goal is to empower clients to be able to be a guide in their own therapy!
I provide clients with a very comfortable, open and judgement-free space where they can feel safe to share their thoughts and opinions! I work to provide the encouragement and support clients need to feel empowered to create positive changes in their daily lives! I currently offer both in person (Scarborough only) and virtual therapy sessions (Ontario wide)!
