I am an experienced and passionate therapist located in Airdrie. I believe we all have the capacity and inner wisdom to cope with life’s challenges, but sometimes we might need guidance from a trained professional to tap into those internal resources. I specialize in supporting those who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or have difficulty managing emotions, or adapting to life transitions. I have also worked extensively to help people cope with the effects of past experiences, trauma, and stress. I use various interventions in my practice but ultimately want to tailor my approach to what will work best for you.
I strive to create a supportive and compassionate environment geared towards growth and meaningful change. I believe it’s important to balance “therapy talk” with lightness and laughter. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models including Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
