For 20 years. Providing psychotherapy, counselling and mindfulness training to clients suffering with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or life struggles resulting from new or complex situations that experience has not prepared them for. Many seek therapy because they want their situation or behaviour to change, but are stuck in a pattern of repeating exactly those things they hope to change. My role is to help you uncover and understand your current situation and what may be keeping you in self-limiting patterns, help you learn and apply new skills, and provide tools for managing symptoms and navigating new experiences.
Insight alone is not enough to address our challenges. Combining discussion with skills development for symptom management, emotional self-awareness and new behaviour. Eclectic therapeutic and developmental approach draws from psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, CBT techniques, etc, plus Jungian psychological type-based models for understanding personality.
I provide a non-judgmental space to explore your inner-world, and to understand the conflicts that may be stopping you from moving forward. We focus on objectively identifying your struggles, while minimizing judgment of them, so that we can reduce feelings of guilt, shame or self-doubt in the process.
