I specialize in working with adults and teenagers experiencing depression and anxiety. I also work with people experiencing trauma, spiritual crisis, relationship issues, loneliness, problems due to medication, and stress in many forms. A block of time in my practice is kept open daily for those in crisis, who cannot find adequate support through the public system. I also work with couples wishing to heal relational concerns, and those with an inclination towards spiritual practice/life. I am LGBTQ2S+ friendly and welcome people from all faith backgrounds and walks of life. Sessions are available in-person, by email, and via video.
I am deeply committed to providing loving and compassionate support to others. My practice is informed by transpersonal psychology, somatic experiencing (healing with and through the body and nervous system), mindfulness, psychiatric nutrition, existential theory, Buddhist psychology, and my own formal meditation and spiritual practices.
My approach is integrative and holistic. I not only incorporate other medical and philosophical systems, but also work closely with a team of complimentary medical practitioners (a holistic nutritionist and a TCM doctor). Note: (c) indicates being a candidate, a degree in progress; in my PhD I focus on trauma and the renegotiation and healing of trauma.
