I continue to be intrigued by the human spirit as it looks for answers that will bring healing to relationships, big life decisions, inner struggles and general well-being. With over 30 years of working with people and 26 years as a Registered Psychologist, I enjoy collaborating with individuals, families, and communities to deepen their stories, strengthen existing resources, discover new ways to provide resource and to make changes that are sturdy and forward moving.
Working in Family Service Agencies and with Employee Assistance Programs has provided many opportunities to draw upon strength based counselling techniques to work with diverse situations. A more recent area of specialization is utilizing attachment and somatic based therapies to assist people through trauma, loss and/or the effects of accumulated stress.
I'm grateful to offer sessions in-person or through video conferencing. I begin with a 15 min phone conversation (no fee) to gather some information about your story and what you are looking for in counselling.
