Welcome! Are you seeking support for yourself, your child or your family? I'm a Registered Social Worker with a Clinical Specialization and a Registered Art Therapist. My approach is tailored to your particular concerns and goals. Common concerns people seek help for from me include the impact of trauma, anxiety, stress, grief, parent-child relationship concerns, emotional regulation, behavioural issues, self esteem and life transitions. I work from a person-centered, collaborative, strengths-based approach that is trauma informed and grounded in attachment theory.
Do you prefer a talk therapy approach or are you interested in art therapy? I offer both, with a comfortable space to talk, or art materials to use if you prefer art therapy. Art therapy utilizes art making to express and process thoughts and emotions that may be difficult to convey with words. No prior art experience is necessary!
I have developed strong therapeutic skills with many years working in mental health. This has included single session personal and crisis counselling, community-based psychiatric crisis services for adults, and campus-based mental health treatment for children, youth, and their families.
