Counselling children/youth is very different than working with adults. Play and expressive therapies integrate the use of verbal counselling with play, sand play, art therapy and are very experiential. Monica brings 17 years of experience in providing therapy to children/youth dealing with trauma, anxiety and relational challenges.
Monica is committed to creating effective, positive and lasting changes. She also supports parents to find ways to connect with their children and better understand their loved one’s emotions and behaviours. Monica’s aim is to support parents in exploring the possible causes and meaning behind their children’s challenging behaviours.
