With over two decades of experience specializing in interpersonal communication and relationships, I believe we experience and learn much about ourselves through relating with others. In my practice, with youth, adults, couples and families, I help clients to resolve the impacts of issues such as conflict, loss, life transitions, and changes in relationships (marriage, birth of a child, family separations, caring for an aging parent). I am passionate about offering you the opportunity to experience greater awareness, peace and ease within yourself and in your relationships with others.
My approach to counselling is growth-oriented, goal-directed, and strengths-based. A key outcome is helping you experience change that both resolves your struggles and increases your self-worth. Central to my practice is the therapeutic belief that, "Communication is to relationships what breath is to life." (Virginia Satir).
