Mindful Healing is based in Central Alberta. We offer online and in-person counselling and personal coaching services. Our practice is about helping people recover from traumas as well as learning to effectively manage stress, anxiety and depression. Our purpose is to empower people with effective tools, mindset, and practices to thrive and create happiness in their lives. While our services are personalized, we draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and mindfulness practices in our work together.
I have over 20 years of experience as social worker. I have a masters degree in social work with a clinical specialization. I am registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I utilize a variety of therapeutic skills such as; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solutions Focused, Mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing.
My specialties are mindfulness and meditation. I am also currently taking specialized training in Somatic Experiencing which specifically treats trauma and PTSD. A recently completed course in cyber counselling enables me to be able to provide E-counselling services as well.
