Having travelled a similar journey, I know how important it is to have someone walk with you, shining light in the dark corners, showing you how to find firm footing and guiding you towards finding joy and purpose on the other side. Working from a practical, strengths-based perspective, I will help you figure out the reasons why you think, do and react as you do and discover new ways of interacting with yourself, others and your environment.
I have many years experience with the realities of the child welfare and foster care system and the impact it has on people. I also have specialized knowledge in the areas of trauma, anxiety, attachment, sexual abuse and assault, human trafficking, intimate partner violence, victims of crime and victimization by the justice system.
It can be scary and overwhelming walking alone, so I invite you come and curl up on my couch in my cozy office. My sessions are 75 minutes, giving us time to really dive into your concerns each time we meet. Bring your mess - I have the tissues and chocolate, and we will sort things out together!
