Life can be difficult, and we all stumble at times. I think that one of the bravest things a person can do when they are struggling is to seek help. At the heart of psychotherapy is change. I believe that change occurs more easily when a person feels understood, cared for, and accepted. It can be difficult to share our inner most feelings with others; the paradox is that as frightening as that can be, it is the pathway to relief. We have to go "through" in order to get to the other side.
The cornerstone of my work is providing an emotionally safe space for my clients so that they can share their story.
