I have dedicated my career to working with first responders. I have worked with many individuals who are wrestling with the question "Do I have a workplace injury?" This question is complex and not straightforward. I have a wealth of knowledge supporting first responder's with this dilemma and many other issues such as just feeling off, anger/irritability, lack of sleep, trust, working in a negative workplace culture, moral injury/sanctuary trauma. I also have an extensive working knowledge of WSIB (deciding when and how to make a claim), long term disability, retirement/pension and career planning.
I have helped many individuals navigate the uncertainties and challenges of trauma in the workplace. Often individuals will discuss symptoms such as poor sleep, low stress tolerance, anger/irritability and not feeling present or unable to experiencing joy in their personal life. Many do not link how work can be negatively impacting them.
I focus on providing an open and honest conversations that are non-judgmental and supportive. I can provide answers to questions that you might be contemplating. If you feel that you could be coping better or you have questions regarding the WSIB process, please reach out. I am here to support you.
