Hi, my name is Mercy, I am a bilingual Social Worker. I'm glad you found your way here! Beginning therapy is a courageous act. It may feel uncomfortable at first but as you learn more about yourself, gain support with life's struggles/stresses and heal from your trauma, you will gain a better understanding of what you desire out of this thing we call life!
I have years of experience working with individuals from all walks of life in both Nova Scotia and Nunavut. My passion is working with first responders, survivors of trauma and the BIPOC community. My work reflects my training in EMDR, ACT, EFCT (couples), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure and Trauma Focused Cognitive behavioral therapy.
I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples through their healing. There is hope on the other side of this pain. Please reach out if you need support, I would be glad to walk alongside you on your journey.
