I am a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s of Social Work. I have been working primarily in the mental health and addiction’s sector for the past 10 years. I have completed a certification as a Clinical Traumatologist and completed EMDR Basic Training.
My specialities include mental health disorders (anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder), trauma, addictions, stress management, self-harm, life transitions and adjustment, conflict management, and grief.
I am skilled in utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
