My passion is supporting individuals who are neurodiverse, those with developmental disabilities, and their families and support networks in a counselling capacity. I have a special interest in working with those who feel burnt out and overwhelmed by life. Whether that is due to mental health, ADHD, or ASD, finding balance, identity, and understanding in their lives is such rewarding work. Outside of my area of interest, I love working with people from all walks of life. No matter your story, there is space for you.
I work from a person-centred and trauma-informed lens. But what does that really mean? Essentially, I view you as an individual who knows your story better than anyone else. So, therapy is tailored to you, focusing on your personal needs and goals. I also have experience in DBT and CBT.
I view the relationship between client and therapist as collaborative, non-judgemental and empathetic. Vulnerability can feel hard and intimidating, I strive to create a space where we can normalize talking about all aspects of a person’s life with compassion and understanding.
