Parenting is hard. With the ever-changing challenges of today’s world, and the unrealistic expectations of “perfect parenting”, it seems harder now than ever before. The world of parenting is full of competing opinions, voices, and perspectives. In reality, there is no “right” way to parent. You are the only expert when it comes to your child.
I believe that parents and caregivers are the most effective therapeutic intervention for their children. I work with parents who want to learn strategies to support their children with challenging behaviours, difficult emotions, and mental health concerns. I hope to empower parents as the expert on, and most valuable support to, their child.
I offer individual coaching and group workshops for parents and caregivers. I approach this work from an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed stance. I believe that seeking support in your parenting journey is a sign of great strength and deep love. I have the utmost respect for this, and I would be honoured to be part of your circle of support.
