Currently accepting clients for Wednesdays during regular business hours. One of the hardest parts of therapy is finding the strength to get started so congratulations on taking that first step! I practice from a non-judgmental, empathetic perspective. I most frequently work with older adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and life transitions including transitioning to postsecondary, relationship beginning/end, and job beginning/end. One of my specialties is working with postsecondary students who are experiencing difficulties with adjusting to school.
I focus strongly on cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. My aim is always to meet you where you're at and develop a plan that uses your needs and strengths. I also offer solution-focused brief therapy for people who may be limited in the number of sessions they are able to attend due to insurance and other reasons.
