Life experiences can hinder our emotional, mental, or spiritual growth, making it difficult to move forward in an effective way. My experience has been working with teens, men, and women and their issues with trauma, addictions, OCD, eating disorders, and anxiety. I am passionate about helping my clients understand how the brain works and taking a strength-based approach to developing skills. The research focus of my thesis was on resiliency in Indigenous adults with FASD. Together, we can find the power within you.
I am a Registered Psychologist with a background as a junior high and high school teacher and working with children and teens as an intensive child/youth care worker. I have experience working with cognitive issues, such as FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) and autism. I work primarily from a Hakomi (somatic) and Motivational Interviewing approach.
