Are you a young adult or youth trying to piece together life? Stressed with school, relationships or family? Has mental health or addiction become a challenge in your daily life? My name is Megan, I am an anti-one-size fits all therapist and former guidance counsellor who has worked with folks in their teens and early adulthood for over fifteen years. I specialise in depression, anxiety and trauma and have supported people with overcoming difficult life circumstances, harmful relationships, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I also have an extensive background in education and life planning.
Learning who you are and where you fit in is one of life's biggest journeys. You are not alone. Therapy can be a safe space to process some of the challenges you are having. Together, we will work on finding new skills to help you cope, problem solve and adapt to all the adventures and heart ache life brings.
If you are a young adult, youth or parent who is looking for support for your loved one, I offer online and in preson counselling as well as walk and talk therapy for folks living in York Region. Please visit thesessionspace.ca for more information on my practice.
