I have been in the education and social wellness field for over 20 years, specializing in counselling individuals, couples, and families to live purposeful, joy filled lives by focusing on Mental and Emotional work first. As Alfred Adler suggested, “first we think, then we feel, and then we act”. I help individuals navigate through issues related to stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have a special interest in working with couples and relationship issues. My approach relies on extensive experience in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, TEAM-CBT, and MI. As well, I am now offering EFT Tapping sessions.
My approach supports client competencies (strengths) and solution based therapy. With sensitivity and compassion, I work with each client to help them build on solutions to their unique struggles and issues. I also have training in Art and Narrative Therapy, REBT, and Existential approaches. As well, I offer Parent Education Training assistance.
