I am dedicated to honoring the individuality, dignity, and integrity of each client. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a direct yet non-judgmental attitude, fostering an environment of emotional safety and personal growth. My main objective is to provide clients with the skills and knowledge to spark positive transformations within themselves, translating these changes into their everyday lives and experiences. By centering on the client's needs, I strive to improve their overall quality of life through a therapeutic relationship that allows them to examine life factors impacting their personal growth and challenges.
My therapeutic goals focus on encouraging positive cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes. I provide a variety of psychological services tailored to the evolving needs of each client, whether individuals (teenagers and older). I also support clients who primarily speak Cantonese and may have challenges expressing themselves in English.
My approach is characterized by empathy, understanding, care, and expertise. I am trained in therapeutic approaches such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and somatic experiencing, allowing me to effectively address anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. I also use the Gottman method to address relationship and marital concerns.
