I have completed my graduate degree/masters in Counselling Psychology and hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology. My career started when I worked supporting youth who struggled with substance use-related issues. I then spent several years working as an Addiction and Mental Health Counsellor with both youth and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. I moved to BC and then spent some time working as a Family Counsellor for youth with complex needs using a trauma-informed/attachment-based approach.
I use a variety of evidence-based practices through an empathetic lens and various approaches including cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques to ensure you feel heard, and that therapy is best suited to meet individual needs.
