I don't think mental health is something you achieve, but rather something you work your whole life trying to improve and maintain. There are so many reasons why you can't seem to be the best version of yourself - lack of motivation, negative past experiences, fears, and insecurities. And sometimes you just need a space separate from your world to help clarify and better understand yourself and what's standing in your way. My goal is to create an open, trusting, and vulnerable space where you can be your most authentic self - I believe that is the state where insight and change takes place.
I like to identify both your strengths and weaknesses to better understand the problems and your tools for solutions. I like narrative and metaphor as that seems to be how my brain works. My work has specialized in areas of life transition, relationships, attachment, identifying values, and meaning making.
