Sometimes events and relational experiences from earlier parts of our life can impact our present in ways that may be outside our conscious awareness. Our work together is to help you make meaning out of these experiences and explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may still be impacting on an unconscious level and keeping you from reaching your goals.
I create a therapeutic space that is both supportive and exploratory. My approach is psychodynamic, trauma informed and influenced by a variety of therapeutic modalities. I operate through an attachment lens with the understanding that much of our life is unconscious, therefore the trusting bond with your therapist is the most essential part of therapy.
I believe in this work and accredit life challenges as something that brought me into this field. I graduated from the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counselling Program (OPC) a 5-year in-depth program dedicated to embodied learning. I am committed to growth and continue to deepen my self-understanding and exploration through my own work in psychotherapy.
