Maryam works with people to harness their strengths and resources to meet their life goals. Maryam supports clients to heal from the past, explore core values and develop purposeful actions. She helps clients realize their full potential, live more authentically, and have more satisfying relationships. Maryam also offers EMDR therapy for clients with past trauma. EMDR uses eye movements and it does not require talking in detail about distressing issues.
Maryam has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Mathematics from UBC. She offers counselling for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, trauma, work stress, career development and issues specific to university students. She offers sessions online and in-person in Vancouver.
