I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPQ) and Certified Canadian Counselor (CCPA) and an Art therapist with more than 15 years of experience in mental health working with adults, couples, and children. I am an expert in different approaches including psychodynamics, CBT, mindfulness, Art therapy, Emotional focused therapy, Attachment-based therapy, and Humanistic approach. I utilize a client-centred methodology to provide a compassionate and safe therapeutic environment for my clients and use the appropriate approach based on my client’s needs and goals to maximize the result.
My experience includes years of advanced training in psychotherapy, psychiatry and medicine. I began my career as a medical doctor and psychiatrist in my native Iran, working with a diverse population in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and psychotherapy. Then, in Canada, I pursue my training in Art therapy and continue to work in the field of psychotherapy
