Are you grieving? Are you feeling overwhelmed? When we have lost someone or something in our lives, being overwhelmed is normal. We often need to tell our story again and again, in order to process and heal through our losses. Sometimes we need additional support to do this very task in grief, to feel the rollercoaster of emotions with loss but also actively mourn our losses and be able to learn how to hold our stories differently. After 17 years, as a Grief Counsellor at The Grief Support Program, I have moved into private practice to continue this sacred work. I would be honored to work with you in your healing journey.
I specialize in working with clients who have experienced the loss of a loved one through death or disconnection. I also provide counselling for those of you who are anticipating the loss of a loved one or other potential losses such a job, relationships as well as future dreams.
In addition, I also provide grief counselling for those of you who have or are anticipating the loss your pet. We can experience overwhelming sadness that sometimes is not recognized or understood by others. This response is very normal and sometimes requires support. Warm regards, Kathleen
