Preoccupation with food and body image often leaves one feeling on the outside of everything happening around them; a prisoner in your body and in your life. Through education, clinical experience, and personal lived experience, we, at Live Empowered Counselling, understand the complexities of treating a person suffering in these areas. We also empathize with the effects of feeling unseen, unheard, and alone. Only when you are taught to navigate life through a lens of worthiness and compassion can you push past the cycle of comparison and all-or-nothing thinking, and nourish the emotionally overwhelmed parts of you.
We are an integrative psychotherapy practice that supports you in creating a space for personal growth through behavioural intervention and emotional processing of eating disorders and body related shame. Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, your needs, your wants, and your value allows you to more confidently build a meaningful life.

Empowered Support for Self-Esteem
Are you someone who suffers from low self-esteem? It is a common problem in our society today, so know that you are not alone! Low self-esteem is often characterized as a lack of confidence and involves being critical about oneself. Individuals with low self-esteem often have negative core beliefs about themselves that they think are factual and true. This online group is designed to help you challenge the negative beliefs you hold about yourself while understanding how these beliefs came to be. Group will start January 16th 2023 and run for 5 weeks. Age: 18+
