I am passionate about mindful living and enriching all areas of life. Therapy is an essential wellness-based practice, allowing us the self-maintenance needed to thrive in all aspects of our lives. My aim is to create space for you to explore and reconnect with all parts of yourself through nurturing acceptance of emotions, imperfection, and vulnerability. I have worked in the community for 8 years supporting individuals in crisis, youth in conflict with the law and diverse families confronting structural and systemic barriers. My lived experience as a person of colour shapes my practice in supporting Toronto’s diverse communities.
In therapy I work to offer a safe space cultivated through an attuned, culturally sensitive, deeply curious and gently challenging approach. My therapeutic work centers on nervous system healing rather than just “coping” through integrating both the mind and body.
By drawing on several modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) I aim to integrate both the mind and body in our work together.
