Life transitions and expectations can be overwhelming. Maybe you are wearing many hats and feel like you've lost yourself balancing everyone else's needs. Or perhaps the losses you have faced are so heavy that it feels almost impossible to take the next step. I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who face challenges with relationships, grief or parenting. My experience includes supporting first and second-generation immigrants and mixed-raced individuals from a cross-cultural lens that addresses Identity, belonging, and intergenerational healing.
I offer a holistic approach to mental well-being and draw from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment theory, Narrative, Mindfulness practices, Solution-Focused therapy, Dialectical behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Gottman Method for couples. I am passionate and committed to supporting you in your life journey.
As a trauma-focused and relational therapist, my goal is to help you feel empowered and in control of your life, to reduce the impact of all the losses you have faced, and to help you lead a life that feels meaningful. I offer in-person sessions in Cochrane, Alberta and online counselling for anyone living in Alberta and Ontario.
