Parenting requires so much from us and it can bring up many emotions when our children struggle. I specialize in parent counselling & coaching. I support and empower parents to feel more confident, attuned and skilled in their parenting journey. Parent counselling can help with issues such as anxiety, temper tantrums, aggression, defiance, sibling issues, adoption, conflict, power struggles and many more issues. We will work together to understand your child's emotional world, how to support your child in successfully regulating their emotions, enhance your connection with your child and implement evidence based strategies.
I am a Registered Psychologist and a Certified Peaceful Parenting Coach. I work from an attachment lens and began providing counselling with children and parents 20 years ago. I also have experience facilitating parent groups. I am passionate about helping parents find joy and calm in their parenting which can lead to a more collaborative and peaceful home.
My style is warm, sensitive and non-judgemental. I will work to create a safe and trusting experience where you can explore emotions that may arise in your parenting, gain insight into what triggers may get activated in you and new strategies to help increase your confidence in supporting your children through difficult behaviours, emotions and adversity.
