Living with life-altering illness, abuse, trauma, burnout or a devastating loss can be such an isolating experience. Sometimes the people around you, even health professionals, don’t know how to give the right support. The last thing you need after being put through the wringer is to have your experiences minimized or invalidated or to be given advice that doesn’t fit. You deserve respect, validation, and above all, genuine kindness as you make your way through the worst things a human being can experience. You deserve solid, compassionate support along with the practical tools to build a life in which you can thrive.

Do you ever feel that being a new parent is not what you expected? Are you feeling overwhelmed or question whether you are a good enough mom? Maybe your birth plan did not go as expected and you can't seem to stop thinking about this disappointment or loss. You sometimes wonder whether you should have had a baby in the first place. Or, maybe you struggle more with racing thoughts that you can't shake off. You try very hard but you can't relax. You constantly worry throughout the day whether you are doing this parenting thing right. Have you noticed that having a baby has put a new strain on your relationship with your partner?

Perhaps you feel at an impasse or in crisis. Or you struggle to find meaning or equilibrium. Maybe the goals you set for yourself elude you despite your best intentions. Or you mourn losses: of loved ones, of relationships, of past possibilities, youth, or good health. I believe that lasting change arrives by way of self-understanding & authentic connection within ourselves, with other people, & with the world-at-large. I offer a therapeutic environment where you are heard; where your unique hopes & experiences are recognized; & where you can discover & explore hidden or silent aspects of yourself without shame or fear of judgement.

I remember feeling so lost and alone, unsure which way to turn. Who was I? Having 2 young children yet, wanting to die. The pain was unbearable, I could not see any other way out. I cried non stop, dragging myself out of bed in the morning; slept many hours during the day. Not able to see any possibility of change in sight. Why do I hurt? Why am I here? Blaming myself for all that had gone wrong in my life. I was emotionally frozen. No hope! Even the things I loved, didn't bring me joy any more. Does this sound like you? Do you want to be rid of your pain? Are you tired of living this way? IT IS possible to change! I did!

Therapy for final girls. In horror movies, the final girl is the one who survives to tell the tale. She has faced down monsters, ghosts, and demons and she has fought like hell to survive. Her fight has made her tough, resilient, and fiercely independent — but on the inside, there are battle scars and shadows. Final girls are revered for their strength and ability to take on even the scariest of battles, but there is so much more to you; your life, than what lies on the surface. I incorporate tarot and dreamwork into my therapy practice to help you connect more deeply with your layers of consciousness.
