I work closely and compassionately with individuals struggling with trauma, stress, anxiety, and grief. Rather than just scratching the surface, we holistically explore your symptoms and the challenges in your life from a trauma-informed approach. Immediate goals include improving coping and capacity; longer term goals include healing and cultivating positive change in your life. It is so important you have a sense of ease and feel understood in the therapy space; I meet you where you are at and listen earnestly to understand your story. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, with some humour thrown in.
I support individuals who want to process old or new traumatic experiences, navigate relationship/attachment struggles, or generally work through anything that feels "stuck". My primary focus is EMDR therapy (because it is so effective!), however I am trained in a variety of research-based therapies that we draw upon/integrate uniquely for each client.
