I have over 17 years of experience in the human services field. I offer counselling services to people who deal with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Some of my other specialties include divorce/separation, recent life changes, and stress management. It is rewarding for me to watch my clients achieve success with their professional life and grow in their personal lives. Due to the fact that I am a Registered Social Worker, the majority of insurers will reimburse you for my services. I also provide counselling through the NIHB program for Indigenous clients.
My approach to counselling is client centred and strength based. I use a collaborative and conversational style in helping clients resolve issues and attain their goals. I help people recognize their needs and concerns while building on positives and strengths to assist individuals achieve their desired outcomes.
I offer a nonjudgmental and affirming environment, where you can also receive honest feedback. Together we will find the barriers and patterns that may be keeping you from reaching your goals. I understand that starting counselling can be stressful in itself and I aim to make this process as easy and open as possible.
