Nice to meet you! My name is Luciana. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of combined international and Canadian experience in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Through an integrative approach that combines trauma-informed practices, Somatic EMDR, mindfulness and CBT, I believe that everyone can learn and build resilience - the ability to bounce back from life-changing experiences. I work through a client-centred, compassionate, non judgmental and strength-based perspective. I prioritize building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship to promote change and growth.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am post-graduated in Mental Health and in Psychopedagogy. I graduated from the Bridge Training Program for Internationally Trained Mental Health Professionals. I am a Somatic EMDR practitioner and I am currently studying for a Trauma Specialist certification. Addition training in CBT, MI, ACT and mindfulness.
