Life-threatening and chronic illnesses can change you in so many ways - physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually. It can be difficult to cope with feelings of grief, anger, lack of control, frustration, anxiety and fear. It's common to feel overwhelmed while trying to make decisions, adjusting to a new normal, and managing changes in your identity, at any stage of this trajectory. But you do not need to face it alone.
I have over 15 years of clinical experience providing counselling to clients with depression, anxiety, patients who have a chronic illness diagnosis and are navigating treatment, genetic mutation carriers, young adults, cancer survivors, caregivers, and those with metastatic disease and/or in palliative care.
I am passionate about supporting clients through their journey by providing a safe, non-judgmental space to help process their experiences and boost their resilience. I am highly empathetic and like to walk alongside my clients to improve coping through a collaborative and meaningful process.
