I am a Registered Psychotherapist with more than ten years of experience supporting individuals with their mental wellness. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives and at times become stuck with internal conflict, ways of being, or are in situations that are not conducive to growth. I believe that everyone is on their own spiritual journey and that for some, participating in therapy can encourage deeper understanding and help to unearth meaning in their life. I enjoy helping clients work to identify the source of thoughts, feelings and concerns with the goal of arriving at a place of understanding and acceptance.
In providing a person-centered, nonjudgmental space and trauma-informed approach, I assist clients in exploring the inner workings of their being to heal, grow and thrive. Through the development of mutual trust and collaboration, I facilitate sessions to support people based on their individualized needs and goals.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals in managing emotions and finding solutions to cope with life challenges. Ways of working and modalities that I’ve utilized within my practice include narrative psychotherapy, DBT, CBT and creatives arts therapy.
