I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a focus on supporting individuals living with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and substance use concerns. After becoming a mother myself, my passion shifted towards perinatal (mental health from pregnancy to postpartum) concerns. I am currently registered as a Perinatal Mental Health therapist with Postpartum Support International. I work with mothers/parents to understand the changes that becoming a parent brings, challenge societal beliefs and expectations, and explore their new identity as a parent.
I offer a safe space for you to openly explore your concerns and develop new strategies to move you forward. Knowing how difficult childcare can be, babies/infants are welcome to attend the appointments with you! My main treatment approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I use a combination of evidence-based practices and methods tailored to the specific individual's needs. I believe therapy is about entering into a partnership, with the goal of identifying strategies and behavioural changes that move you towards a more rich and meaningful life.
