My space is a small cabin located within 5 acres of outdoor space. This allows for a very naturalized counselling experience. Walk and talk along the trails, Adirondack chairs deep within the wooded area or the shelter of the small cabin are your choices, for each appointment. The space allows for relaxation and grounding to be experienced very naturally.
Each client is unique and different approaches may present new opportunities for you to work through fears, thoughts and emotions that may be overwhelming. My training in EMDR and ATTCH integration allow for trauma processing. Working through anxiety, depression or symptoms of living with a diagnoses may draw from strategies of Mindfulness, CBT or DBT.
Finding the right therapist is very important. A telephone conversation at no charge is a good way to begin to get to know each other.
