Hello! I’m Lisa and I'm a Social Work Therapist in the Tulameen, Princeton, and surrounding rural areas. My goal is to contribute to my local communities by providing flexible and low-barrier counselling services to the folks who reside in the rural and remote areas. I have 12 years experience as a Social Worker including child welfare, mental health, substance use, and domestic violence counselling, as well as experience as a Firefighter and providing Disaster Psychosocial Services. I believe my background puts me in an unique position to support first responders and those impacted by crisis and traumatic events.
I offer a down to earth and comfortable environment for you to share your life experiences, trauma, grief, life stressors, or whatever is on your mind without judgment. I support individuals from all walks of life and understand the impact of systems on mental health. I am here to meet you where you’re at and support you however I can to get you through it.
My services are offered in person (Princeton office or in some cases, client home), virtual, and via telephone. I aim to make my services low barrier and as easy and stress-free as possible for you! Let me know how I can help. To book a free 15 minute consult or your first session, go to robicscube.janeapp.com or contact me directly. Reach out any time :)

Grief groups bring people together to help heal your grief in a supportive and non-judgmental way. It helps to know you're are not alone in feeling this way. Participation in this group will help you explore your grief to find meaning and hope for the days ahead. This 12-week group is based on the book “Understanding your Grief – Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope & Healing Your Heart” by Alan Wolfelt. Each week we will focus on one touchstone to explore and discuss together, in addition to private journaling. Attendance at all 12 sessions is required.
