Challenges and unexpected events can overwhelm our sense and emotions. I strive to work with children, youth and families in an empathetic and client centered approach to help individuals and groups find hope and joy for the future. Children and youth who have experienced trauma may find it difficult to participate in traditional talk therapies. Rainbow of Hope uses a play therapeutic approach so clients can tell their stories and process their complex emotions. By learning how to tell their story they learn coping strategies that enables each client to see hope within their future.
If you are noticing that your child is struggling with their emotions or peer relationships it might be time to seek help from a licensed professional. My individual and group sessions are tailored to the needs of your child. During our sessions play, sand tray, games and art may be used.

Groups
Friendship Small Group sessions
I am offering small group sessions where clients work on friendship skills in a safe, supportive setting. I use games and crafts in order to encourage discussion and engagement between the participants. During these sessions clients will develop their self esteem and confidence when interacting with peers. Session fees are $250.00 plus GST for 4 sessions. Each session is 60 minutes.
